Pre-K Program
At Little Pebbles our Pre-K Program offers students the chance to learn, build their social skills and encourages communication through play and small group activities revolving around interest based topics. Each part of the day is structured to help students develop and grow at their own individual pace towards school readiness.
A 'typical' day in our pre-K program includes:
9:00-9:10 - Parent Drop-off
9:10-9:30 - Circle Time: practicing writing names, pledge of allegiance, Calendar, Weather, Days of the Week, Colors, Shapes, Rhymes.
9:30-10:15 - Centers: rotating 'centers' of constructive play.
10:30-10:50 - Snack
10:50-11:00 - Flex/Story Time - This time is used for a literacy or math skill, as well as a story/poem to share and discuss.
11:00-11:30 - Music
11:30-11:55 - (weather permitting) outdoor play for students. Alternatively, indoor play in downstairs space for gross motor activities.
12:00 - Dismissal
